“ THE WAY I THINK AND LOOK AT INTERIOR DESIGN… WE ALWAYS START WITH THE FUNCTION. WE NEVER START WITH BEAUTY OR AESTHETIC… INTERIOR DESIGN IS RATIONAL. IF WE DESIGN SOMETHING THAT DOESN’T WORK, IT BECOMES A PIECE OF ART. I am not just an artist, I am an artist who designs function.”

ANNA POPOV

Led by Anna Popov, a visionary creative mind and an iconoclast behind the brand, Interiors by Popov is singular in its promise to deliver interiors that artfully pair the form and the function to meet and exceed the expectations of its rapidly expanding client base.

A true global citizen, Anna Popov—the eponymous founder and creative force behind Interiors by Popov— is an original thinker.

CHLOE’s passion and appreciation for interior design stems from her upbringing and has developed into a perpetual learning experience. Her love of design is comprehensive, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in art history and religion, and eventually receiving a second degree in interior design. Before settling at IBP, Chloe gained experience at multiple residential design firms, where she further honed her instincts, skill set and overall perspective. She believes that good design is created out of an intimate understanding of place and consideration for the human experience. Valuing collaboration and a balance between function and creative content, Chloe has found her place here at IBP.

Before becoming an interior designer, YINGFEI had her master’s degree in Statistics from Columbia University and worked in a global consulting firm in the healthcare industry. She gradually realized her true passion was in the creative world and earned her degree in interior design from Parsons School of Design. She finds a perfect balance in interior design. To her, design is a journey of both problem-solving and storytelling, which allows her to exercise not only the creative mind but also the communication and analytical skills she developed in her past job. She believes good design embraces the environment, enriches people’s experience and endures, and she approaches projects as experiments and loves to see ideas evolving.

Outside of work, she loves traveling. However, with physical excretion not her forte, shopping is her favorite form of cardio.

Born in Poland and raised in Germany, ANNA DeSANTIS holds a BA in Communications Design from Hamburg University for Applied Sciences. Following a successful career as an advertising art director, she relocated to San Francisco in the year 2000 and later to the Pacific Northwest.

Before joining Interiors by Popov, Anna successfully ran her own consulting firm, where she honed her skills in all aspects of office management. She thrives in a creative environment and enjoys interacting with clients and supporting the team’s day-to-day needs.

In addition to serving as the Office Manager at Interiors by Popov, Anna takes care of the Popov brand and helps with marketing activities whenever time allows. She is happiest when close to water, with her family and dog by her side.

Originally from Madison, WI, NICOLE moved to the PNW in 2016 to pursue her passion for interior design. Her decision to obtain a BA in Interior Design from Bellevue College was heavily influenced by her earlier studies in Art History and Film Photography, where she cultivated a unique aesthetic and a sincere love for design.

Upon graduation, Nicole focused on commercial design, specializing in both hospitality and workplace projects, recognizing her affinity for creating inviting and functional spaces within these environments. Before joining Interiors by Popov, she honed her skills at a high-end Residential Design firm in Seattle, where her attention to detail and passion for furniture, textiles, and art solidified her expertise.

In her role as a Project Designer at IBP, Nicole tailors each design to suit her clients’ distinct tastes and lifestyles, aiming to create spaces that blend comfort, practicality, and a welcoming atmosphere for all.

Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, FIONA O’CONNOR graduated with a BA in Interior Design from the Dublin Institute of Technology. She went on to serve as an Interior Designer at O’Donnell O’Neill Design Associates, an award-winning Dublin-based studio, where she worked on numerous, notable projects in the hospitality sector. During this time, she developed a love for European style and creating interior spaces that provide an elevated experience for the people who use them.

Moving to the US in 2009, Fiona now brings her extensive design background and client-focused management skills to her role at Interiors by Popov, supporting Anna and the team in all aspects of the design process and studio operations.

TATIANA BUCKEYE moved to WA when she was eight years old, after living in the UK, and is in love with the PNW. She began her design journey in 2015 at Bellevue College, where she graduated with BA in Interior Design. She has been with the Popov Team since 2021.

Tatiana is passionate about residential design, being a major homebody herself, believing everyone should feel their most comfortable and happy in their own home. She draws inspiration from old architecture, art, and the outdoors, believing the best designs are integrated with their natural surroundings. Her preferred design style is minimalism with a dramatic flair, using natural materials, textures, and warm colors.
