Spring Has Sprung – What You Need To Know To Throw The Perfect Outdoor Party

By: Anna Popov

Spring is officially here! The temperatures are warming up, flowers are blooming, the sun is setting later, which means its the perfect time to start throwing outdoor parties. Team Popov is going to teach you 4 simple tricks that will leave your guests with a night to remember!

1. Set Your Table

Set your table with a light linen tablecloth, use woven placemats, and play with a mixture of neutral plates/bowls, and add gold utensils for a little finesse.

The great thing about a newly designed minimalist space is that it is essentially a blank canvas, and working with existing built-ins or newly installed shelving is no different. To see the shelves with this fresh perspective, it is important to clear them off, clean them, and make sure you have sufficient lighting in the room. You will also want to regularly take photos so you can compare different options, and determine what looks good together and what is clashing completely. To begin, take a photo of your freshly emptied, clean and bright shelves.

2. Add Greenery & Flowers

We cannot emphasize enough how important this step is. Incorporating simple greenery along the middle of the table can transform the look completely! Try also adding hints of lavender as your choice of flower, not only does it look great but it smells even better.

3. Don't Forget About Lighting

This is an important step because lighting has the ability to set the mood. Try hanging string lights above or surrounding the table. Also, place candles throughout the table to make the space feel extra warm and cozy.

4. Don't Forget the Decor

Spice up the table with some fun decor. Use a variety of empty bottles as vases and even try to create your own dinner menu to really wow your guests!
